Trust & safety screening
Pros can create a LawnLink profile now. Before appearing as available for paid jobs, active pros should complete identity verification, background screening, Stripe onboarding, and the LawnLink accountability agreement.
- Verified ID
- Background checked
- Stripe payout ready
- Insurance encouraged or verified
- Helpers listed before they work paid jobs
LawnLink requires screening to improve trust, but homeowners should still use normal safety precautions.
Pro safety insurance
Lawn pros are responsible for their own work, equipment, safety, and property damage. General liability insurance can help protect you if something goes wrong on a job.
Recommended starting point: ask for lawn care general liability, property damage coverage, and equipment coverage if you transport expensive tools. If you use a vehicle for jobs, ask whether commercial auto or hired/non-owned auto applies.
LawnLink does not sell insurance, provide insurance advice, or guarantee any policy. Some insurance links are affiliate links and may support LawnLink at no extra cost to the pro.
Optional pro gear
Get LawnLink shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and hoodies are available for pros and crews who want a clean, recognizable job-site look.
Gear is optional and does not replace insurance, background checks, licensing, safe work, or professional conduct.
Pros can use Tax & earnings to track yearly LawnLink payout estimates. Final tax forms should be reconciled with Stripe Connect records and a tax professional.
